Linda Steg is professor of Environmental Psychology at theUniversity of Groningen in the Netherlands. She has writtenextensively on factors influencing environmental behaviour, effectsand acceptability of environmental policies, and the impact ofenvironmental conditions on quality of life. She is the currentpresident of the Environmental Psychology Division at theInternational Association of Applied Psychology. Agnes E. Van den Berg is an environmental psychologist, specialising in research on people”s responses to naturalenvironments. She has published in both the academic and popularpress on topics such as landscape preferences, health benefits ofnature, children and nature and evidence-based design of healingenvironments. She has worked at Wageningen University and ResearchCentre in the Netherlands in a variety of roles for 15 years andhas recently been appointed as a special professor of landscapeperception at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Judith I. M. de Groot is a senior lecturer inApplied Psychology at Bournemouth University, UK. She received herPhD at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Her researchinterests include explaining and changing pro-environmentalbehaviours, with a focus on how values and norms affectpro-environmental behaviour.
