Marc Bulterys was the Director of the Global AIDS Program, China Office, United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Beijing, China from 2008 to 2013; he is currently Team Leader of the Global Hepatitis Program at the World Health Organization.  Jennifer M. Mc Googan is a Research Fellow at the National Center for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Beijing.
