Professor Robin G. Hicks, Director, UVic Center for Advanced Materials and Related Technology (CAMTEC), Department of Chemistry, University of Victoria, BC Canada Robin Hicks has worked in the field of stable radicals for over 15 years and has published over 50 papers dealing with many different aspects of stable radical chemistry. Hicks” research has garnered several awards, including the Canadian Society for Chemistry Award for Pure or Applied Inorganic Chemistry in 2003. He chaired the 10th International Conference on Molecule-based Magnets in Victoria, Canada, in 2006, and is the sole author of an authoritative, recent (2007) review on “stable organic radicals” in Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry.
