I was born 1951 in Workington, Cumbria, UK. I was the middle one of three brothers I went to school in Workington and served my apprenticeship at the local Steelworks as a Fitter. Married in 1974 to Chris then emmigrated to South Africa, stayed for fi ve years then returned to Workington. Chris and I have a daughter who is married with a son, and a son who is engaged to be married in 2012. I have been self employed for 30 years now and have worked at local fi rms in the area. I love beer and Rugby Union.
