Faraway Hot Springs 

From a very young age, I have been hearing from the herdsmen that there are paradise-like hot springs named Cuo Na, behind the snowy peaks. The hot springs became the emblem of freedom and romance for me in my youth, a beautiful and remote longing. Years later, I became a photographer and took a picture of a Tibetan girl bathe naked in the springs, which was derided by my childhood friend, Xianba. Xianba become the county magistrate after leaving the army and rendered the mysterious springs dirty and contaminated, thus destroying my childhood fairyland. The springs stand testament to the greed and barbarism of humankind.
