The Keepers of the Garden 

This story is about a young girl inheriting and carrying on a legacy of a garden handed down to her by her grandmother. The young girl learns so much from and about her grandmother and the earlier generations that brought this garden to life, and learns the most sacred secret she has ever had to keep. Her belief and faith in the KEEPERS OF THE GARDEN is vital for their growth and survival. Her task gives her strength to find, within herself, the most precious gift ever given; Believing is the beginning in ones walk of life.

Writing has always been a passion for me; it has gotten me through good times and bad. I’ve always written as if I was actually living in my writing; my father always told me to write children’s stories. I am one out of six children; I seemed to be the one with the most imagination. I’m a retired hairstylist, creative in everything I’m involved with, so having this opportunity was a great achievement in the first step of “BELIEVING”. I guess, like the theme to this story is to “BELIEVE” in yourself always, and to achieve one’s dreams.
