Excerpt from chapter 7 from Andreas viewpoint: We were there and I looked at a planet that some might say had a rosy glow, but to me it looked like the red of an evil vampires eyes. It beckoned to me, almost as if it said, Come to me so I can destroy you. Yet I was helpless to stay away.

About the author

Crystal Dawn’s mother was German, and her father was a career army man from Texas. She and her two brothers were born in army hospitals in the United States. She lived briefly in Germany as a small child before the family moved to an army base in Maryland. The family moved again while she was in elementary school and settled on a farm in Northwest Arkansas. As a teenager, she worked as a maid at a hotel in a nearby tourist town and then in a factory for five years. She went to a junior college, earned an associate degree, and eventually went to work for the federal government for twelve years. She currently runs a small local property management company and writes in her spare time. She has always been an avid reader of any type of literature but has a special love for science fiction and fantasy.
