Dennis Miller was born in Medford, Oregon. He has lived there for sixteen years, not including the two years that he had spent living in Ashland, Oregon. Growing up, Dennis used his poems as a way to cope with what was going on around him at the time. At first, Dennis thought that he was going down a road that would later lead him to a career in marine biology, but after seeing his true passion for writing, he couldn’t imagine doing anything other than writing. After getting his diploma from Central Medford High School, he started classes at Rogue Community College in hopes that he can eventually obtain a degree that will allow him to transfer to Washington State University. He wants to move away from home to Washington, where he hopes to possibly settle down and write for a magazine. Whether he ends up writing for a magazine or not, he wishes to continue writing and publishing his own material.
