About the author

Meryle Wooster Rubenstein, currently a stay-at-home mom, earned her BA from American University in Washington, DC, and her master’s degree in early childhood education from New York University. She was the director of a preschool for ten years before marrying and having three children. She currently lives on Long Island, New York, with her three children and her Yorkshire terrier.



Ethan Schaier is an illustrator and filmmaker from the North Shore of Boston. He recently gravduated Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science in Cinema Photography and a minor in Visual Arts. This is Ethan’s first book that he has illustrated but is something he plans to continue doing.
