Whispers from the Heart is a true account of surviving the death of a loved one and soul mate. This book helps readers through the myriad of emotions that come with reconciling grief and great loss. Hopefully, readers will grow to learn that they can live around the hole in their hearts.

About the author

After losing her husband of thirty-six years, Patrecia was encouraged to write about the experience. These writings grew into a manuscript, which she shared with close friends. They, in turn, asked her to share it with some of their friends who had suffered losses in their lives. All who read it found the content to be very helpful to them, and so Whispers from the Heart was born.

A native Texan, Patrecia grew up in Amarillo, Texas, where she began a forty-seven-year career in education. She has distinguished herself in her community as co-editor of the book, Colleyville Then and Now, and as a founding member of Colleyville’s Senior Advisory Committee. A woman of many talents, she was the first president of the Colleyville Genealogy Society and volunteers for local charities.

Patrecia resides in Colleyville, where she continues to be active in her church and community.
