About the author

Gustavo “Garrincha” Rodriguez is a Cuban illustrator and comic artist residing in Miami, FL. He published his first cartoon, a comic strip, in 1986 in Cuba. Nineteen years later he left Cuba for the United States. Rodriguez describes his art and illustrations as peaceful translations. “An illustrator is a traffic cop.”
