There are thousands of great books about knots. There also are many great books about bondage. About the author

Two Knotty Boys, Dan and JD, combine a quarter century of rope bondage experience, including tying models for world-renown fetish photographers. Rope bondage blossomed naturally from JD’s former work as an industrial rigger and Dan’s hobby as a climbing instructor. Meeting in 1999, as both tied applicants for a bondage-modeling contest, Dan and JD noticed their similarity of bondage styles and philosophy — and they soon teamed up as the Two Knotty Boys. Ever since, they’ve been performing live shows, rigging photo shoots and teaching bondage to packed workshops nationwide. Dan’s years of performing stand-up comedy and JD’s extensive knowledge of human physiology add to their uniquely enjoyable and informative teaching style.

Ken Marcus studied advertising photography at the Art Center College of Design and Brooks Institute of Photography and for 13 years in Yosemite National Park as the youngest student of famed landscape photographer Ansel Adams. In 1971 Ken was selected as the first American photographer for Penthouse magazine as they published their first American editions. He left Penthouse after three years to become the major contributing photographer to Playboy magazine. From 1974-’85 Ken’s work was featured regularly in Playboy’s 15 international editions. For eight years Ken exclusively photographed the famous Playboy Calendar. He has produced hundreds of editorials, centerfolds, covers and calendars. His glamorous nudes have received many awards and much media publicity.
