Mermaid Indi meets a shark who is feared and misunderstood by many creatures. Little does she know he has insecurities and vulnerabilities too. She then makes it her mission to influence and educate others to not judge others so quickly and to be more compassionate in our daily lives.

Leanne is a wife and mother who enjoys travelling the world and going on adventures with her family and friends. A keen artist and story teller, Leanne takes pride in the messages she portrays in her story telling and loves to see her words come to life through illustration.

Leanne is fuelled by her passion for understanding early childhood development and human behaviour. She considers herself a forever student, eager to both build on her academic foundations in psychology and stay in tune with the latest research through continued study and reading.
Her hunger for creativity and determination to deliver subtle messages in her writing makes for both a whimsical and educational read. Leanne hopes that in writing her stories for younger audiences, she can help raise some important questions for both parent and child to discuss.

Leanne believes mindfulness in all aspects of her life is key to success – a tenet she lives out through her interests in yoga, meditation and art.
