Cat Tales – Legends of the 12 Gates 

Cat Tales is an introduction into a foreign language by use of parable. The tales are told from the standpoint of life lessons taught from parent to child. Each tale teaches a lesson and introduces a proverb in a dialect to create a learning experience.

Book one teaches the importance of helping as told thru the eyes of a hatchling. Once the lesson is learned she readily applies it each day.

Book two teaches the lesson how to appreciate who we are as told by a music box that thought it too old to be of any use. She soon learned how wrong she was.

Max West was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan the 5th of the 8 children. Her father often told tales of wonder to entertain them and teach lesson. Her life choices came from such lessons and she developed a love for art and entertainment. She continues to paint and write stories. Cat Tales is the first series of short stories developed from poems she told to her daughter. She currently resides in California.
