Tu Ethnic Group 

On this land where multiple cultures coexist, there are many ethnic groups with different cultures and customs who have been living here since the early age, including the distinctive ethnic minority group the Tu Nationality. The industrious, good, smart and simple Tu people have been living and working in the Gansu-Qinghai region from generations, specifically, in a vast area including the northeast of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the foot of the Qilian Mountain, and both shores of the Yellow River and the Huangshui River. In the long-term historical development process, the Tu people have been living together with their neighboring brotherly nationalities in a friendly way and going forward hand in hand to develop the Great Northwest of the motherland, create inclusive and colorful material and spiritual civilizations, and achieve the formation of outstanding cultural heritage specific to this nationality, making a due contribution to the development and progress of the Chinese civilization.
