Dream of Red Mansions is also known as The Story of the Stone and The Twelve Hairpins of Jinling. Jinling is the ancient name of Nanjing. As the name suggests, "Jinling Twelve Hairpins" seems to refer to the twelve women in Nanjing, but it is not.
