Originally published in 1865, ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ is a widely beloved British children’s book by Lewis Carroll and one of the best-known and most popular works of English-language fiction. It was notably illustrated by British artist
John Tenniel, drawings that appear in this edition.

Alice drinks potions and eats cakes and toadstools to change size, attends a bizarre endless teaparty, plays a game of croquet with an unmanageable flamingo for a croquet mallet and is a witness at the trial of the knave of hearts, where she risks the queen shouting “Off with her head!.”…
