Oral Pathology in the Pediatric Patient 

Pediatric oral pathology deals with the conditions causing or resulting from morbid anatomic or functional changes in thestructures of the mouth in the pediatrics. Many pediatric patients appear with various intraoral lesions that require accuratediagnosis, treatment or reassurance, and possible referral for a dental evaluation. Parents often are concerned with "lumpsand bumps"that appear in the mouths of children.
