Nature is the most awesome of teachers, is she not? Tiny is a down-home heartwarming true story about a orphaned gosling by Mary Ann Short that will school the old and young on the handsome Canada geese that share our wetlands, fields, and skies.

Only because of Mary Ann’s own childhood experience of raising geese was she was able to take on the challenge of this little lone survivor and what then happens will delight and surprise.

Mary Ann lives out in the country on a twenty-acre farm. She supports the care and protection of wildlife. She maintains many bird feeders and is an avid bird watcher. She built a deer feeder of plastic pipes which the deer, raccoons, squirrels, and turkey share as well. She uses boundaries to watch so as not to get to close to scare the animals or birds.

I just love living in the country! Gilded sunrises & sunsets,
tiny hummingbirds or big bucks under my apple trees
on a foggy morning, I live in amazement at the creativity
that surrounds us, all made by our Creator for us to enjoy!

As a lifelong artist, I have worked in a wide variety of projects
in many mediums. As a lifelong nature lover, I was enchanted
by Mary Ann’s story about Tiny & enjoyed conceptualizing
