Gary Lane is a well known author and chess player. He learned to play at the age of 8 when his brother taught him the moves but when Gary started winning the brother took up fishing as a hobby.
A well known coach for junior and senior chess champions he has written over 30 books. Some of the more popular titiles include
‘Improve Your chess in 7 Days’, Sharpen Your Chess tactics in 7 Days and ‘Prepare to Attack’.
