Gladys Rowe, MSW, is a Muskego-Ininiw Iskwe of mixed ancestry with membership in Fox Lake Cree Nation in Northern Manitoba. She is currently completing her PhD in Interdisciplinary studies at the University of Manitoba, Canada, and was the Coordinator for the 2nd International Indigenous Voices in Social Work Conference. Deana Halonen is a Métis/Anishinaabe woman from Grassy Narrows and Kenora, in Treaty Three Territory. She holds an MSW, and is the Distance Delivery Social Work Program Coordinator in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Manitoba, Canada. Yvonne Pompana, BA (Adv), MSW, PhD, is a Dakota woman from the Sioux Valley First Nation in Manitoba. She is currently Associate Professor and Director of the Inner City Social Work Program in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Manitoba, Canada.
