At God’s Eagle Ministries, in the final week of September 2020, a divine revelation was bestowed upon us. It entailed commencing a period of intercessory prayer and fasting, extending for 90 days from October 1st 2020 to December 29th 2020. The purpose of this spiritual endeavor was to seek divine intervention and guidance for the global Church and its leaders in anticipation of the impending storms of life that would afflict the world in the next three (3) to seven (7) years. It was clear that endurance and perseverance would be indispensable for many of God’s children within the revealed time frame. Obediently, we embarked on this sacred journey.

We wondered, ‘Apart from the global pandemic that commenced towards the end of 2019 and persisted through 2020, what other factors might impede Christians worldwide from persevering until the ultimate end…?’

Now, let us advance to the year 2023, and we observe inflationary patterns emerging on a global scale, accompanied by the outbreak of wars throughout the world. These circumstances have the potential to sway the weak-willed and discourage their endurance and perseverance. As of now, we find ourselves still grappling with the labor pains, with no foreseeable conclusion in sight.

This literary creation is the result of that mission – Engaging in supplication for the strength and resolve needed in the turbulent periods of existence in the current eras and cycles, thereby enabling us to effectively engage in prayer – Ensuring our spiritual position in Christ Jesus remains intact as we undergo the transformative experience under the divine care of God, leaving nothing lacking or fragmented.

The scripture that quickly came to mind when that instruction came was:

Luke 22:31-33

31 Simon, Simon (Peter), listen! Satan has asked excessively that [all of] you be given up to him [out of the power and keeping of God], that he might sift [all of] you like grain,

32 But I have prayed especially for you [Peter], that your [own] faith may not fail; and when you yourself have turned again, strengthen and establish your brethren.

33 And [Simon Peter] said to Him, Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death.

In his teachings, Jesus emphasized the importance of persistent prayer and encouraged believers to never lose hope or become discouraged, as stated in Luke 18:1. It is my sincere prayer and earnest desire that you discover the strength and resiliency that can only be bestowed by the Holy Spirit, as you immerse yourself in communion with God through the powerful tool of prayer, in the name of Jesus.
