الدعم

Did the Reverend Josiah Crawley, the curate of Hogglestock, really steal a check? Poverty and misfortune have so clouded his mind, even he isn’t sure. The tragic character must even worry that his accusers will ruin his daughter’s prospects for marrying the Archdeacon’s son. “I regard this as the best novel I have written, ” declared the author.
