It is the story, too, of Eleanor Warren, to whom the frontier post, with all its hardships, had always been home. When she rejoined her father’s regiment at its newest frontier in Arizona, she found Phil Castleton, whom she had loved for three years, waiting for her. And she found, too, a new member of the regiment, Tom Benteen, who strangely attracted her.
