TIME LAPSE: COLLAPSE is one of a three book series that tells the story of Duncan Duggard, a 14-year-old boy who lives with his grandparents in a small town in Michigan. A sensitive boy, Duncan is often bullied at school and sometimes experiences strange stoppages of time. After Duncans grandparents give him a beautiful silver amulet necklace as a birthday gift, Duncan is visited by the ghost of his late mother, who tells him that time itself is in danger of collapsing and that only he is the only one with the power to stop this catastrophe. Heeding his mothers call, Duncan sets out on a series of amazing adventures that change both him and the world around him.

About the author

John Harper is 27 years old and he was born in Phoenix Arizona. He is a High School graduated and presently been going to college.
When John was a kid he always had a wild imagination. He always loved to do artwork and think of many different stories. John always attended a creative arts school or programs while he was growing up.
Living in a poor neighborhood and growing up with a single parent environment was hard on him and his brother and sister. He had a hard life but thanks to my Mom’s hard work and love they all made it through the tough times. He had little to no encouragement throughout his life. His Mom and Dad was the only people who would take the time to inspire me. His Mom was really excited when she found out that he was writing a book.
During these past couple years John had a strong fascination about the Celts. He never knew who they really where until a special person in my life told him about them. Since then he had a big interest about their culture. Even today the Celts traditions are still practice today.
After the recent passing away of John’s Mom was devastating on him .It was like losing his best friend, after all she was practically the only one who encouraged his talent. That is why he want to dedicate this book to his Mom and all his friends who all help inspired him to write this book.
