John S. Bak is Maître de Conférences (Assoc. Prof.) at Nancy-Université (C.T.U.) in France, where he teaches courses on American drama and American Gothic. His articles have appeared in such journals as Theatre Journal, Journal of American Drama and Theatre, The Tennessee Williams Literary Journal, American Drama, Journal of Religion and Theatre, Cercles, and Coup de Théâtre. He has recently completed a book on Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams.
