As a child I grew up reading authors such as Roald Dahl and Tim Burton, writers who saw the world in their own way. My mother always encouraged me to write as I saw things and not be held back by public image. I started writing at the age of 9 and with my mother next to me every step of the way I owe this to her now. The driving force behind me for when I didn’t have the voice to speak, she gave me a pen.
