Marina Santi, PhD, is Professor in Didactics and Inclusive Education at Padova University, Italy. Her research deals with dialogue, argumentation, and social interaction in learning. An expert in Philosophy for Children (P4C), she has carried out a wide range of empirical studies on the effectiveness of philosophising on the development of complex thinking, considering community of inquiry as inclusive environment. Her recent publications focus on improvisation in teaching and learning, and include Educating for Complex Thinking through Philosophical Inquiry (2012) and Improvisation between Technique and Spontaneity (2010).Eleonora Zorzi has a PhD in Pedagogical and Educational Sciences, having completed a doctoral thesis on the teacher improviser profile. She is currently conducting postdoctoral research within a project focused on improvisation, creativity, inclusion and the educational dialogue. She is interested in improvisation, didactic and design, and teacher education, and collaborates on a project oriented towards the education of gifted children. She has studied Philosophy for Children (P4C) methodology and curricula, and conducts training courses for teachers.
