Wendy Royal obtained her PhD from the University of British Columbia, Canada, with interdisciplinary interests in multicultural and anti-racist education, cultural ethnography and critical language pedagogy. She is an award-winning educator, and has written and presented extensively on multicultural and social justice education. She has taught Applied Linguistics at universities across Canada.
