She knew this was no ordinary celebration by the way everyone was dressed. Traditional parties required the guests to dress in their warmest, brightest pastel colors. The guests here were mainly in dark attire. People moved about chatting with each other but the atmosphere wasn’t friendly it seemed forced. The palace was decorated with dark scarlet red drapes hanging from the ceiling coming down cross the windows. The walls weren’t gold like the real palace but silver.
