Aqel is an information technology and management consultant. He is specialized in organizational development and e-transformation. He owns the capacity of integrating vast ICT experiences with contemporary concepts in economics, management, marketing, corporate governance & risk management, in order to improve organization’s competitive advantage while utilizing ICT to boost performance and achieve control.

Aqel is a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association since 2000, and been recognized as Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) in the year 2003. He is a Co-founder in ISACA Riyadh Chapter and serves as CISA Coordinator and research director.
He wrote some specialized books and articles e.g. Introduction to IT Governance using COBIT , and IT Security in your firm, what is it, and how to achieve it.
