The Children of Captain Grant is the first of the famous trilogy. This novel is about: Duke Grynavan, the owner of the cruise ship "Duncan", got clues of the Scottish navigator Captain Grant who was lost two years ago. In order to rescue the shipwrecked Captain Grant, Duke Grynavan organized his own travel team and took Captain Grant”s sons and daughters together on the journey to find Captain Grant. They traveled through the grasslands of South America, across the Australian mainland and New Zealand, and circled the earth. Along the way, they overcame numerous difficulties and dangers with incomparable perseverance and courage, and finally found Captain Grant on a desert island in the Pacific Ocean.
