Determined to turn their lives around, they created the wonderful, incredible, fabulous FLEA CIRCUS, the smallest circus in the world. As soon as it opened, the circus was completely filled and the show was a success. Fleas from all over the world came to see the great Flea Circus with their own eyes. Unas pulguitas aparentemente insignificantes deciden cambiar su vida y crear un maravilloso circo. Un cuento sobre la importancia de no juzgar según las apariencias, creer en uno mismo, y desarrollar ese artista que todos llevamos dentro.

Todos conocemos las pulgas: unos pequeños insectos que habitan en el suave y caliente pelo de nuestros animales. Una vez, ocurrió algo sorprendente. Un grupo de pulguitas, cansadas de vivir escondidas entre pelos y plumas, se agruparon y decidieron ir en busca de una nueva aventura. Decididas a cambiar sus vidas de rumbo, crearon el maravilloso, increíble, fantabuloso CIRCO DE PULGAS , el circo más pequeño del mundo. Nada más abrir, el circo se llenó al completo y el espectáculo fue todo un éxito. Pulgas de todo el mundo vinieron a ver con sus propios ojos el gran Circo de Pulgas.

Mónica Carretero was born in Madrid, but now lives happily in Segovia, where she draws colorful illustrations and writes books for children. She assures that her job makes her feel alive. A passion well depicted in her sunny drawings and original, cheerful characters.
She has illustrated dozens of books, games and posters for Spain, England, France, Korea, Australia and the United States. Since 2011, her work has been recognized on several occasions, being awarded at the London Book Fair, the Latino Book Awards in the United States and also in the Book Expo America.
