She recently considered crossing over into paranormal investigation but was afraid that something would follow her home. She credits that to her Catholic upbringing.

Rena lives in Fairfax, Virginia, with her husband, Kurt; her son, Travis; and her French bulldog, Stitch. Her daughter, Sydney, is a proud member of the US Navy—Hoo-Yah!
