The poems originally published under the title Barrack-Room Ballads include some of Kipling’s most famous efforts, such as ‘Danny Deever, ‘ ‘Fuzzy-Wuzzy, ‘ ‘Gunga Din, ‘ and ‘Tommy.’ These martial songs and poems are still sound a deep connection with British imperialism.
