A contributor to the seminal Handbookof Human Performance Technology, Powers is a past president of theInternational Society for Performance Improvement. William J. Rothwell is a professor of human resourcedevelopment in the Department of Adult Education, InstructionalSystems and Workforce Education and Development in the College ofEducation of the University Park Campus of The Pennsylvania StateUniversity. He has authored, coauthored, edited, or coedited nearlyfifty books, including Practicing Organization Development andMastering the Instructional Design Process.
