When I first started this book, my mother was battling hypertension. She dealt with this most of her life. It eventually led to hypertensive cardiovascular disease that took her life on November 8, 2019. I, along with my father, were her caregivers for the last three years of her life. I was then drawn closer to the Word. I rested my mind on my mother’s wisdom and God’s Holy Word. I hope you too will find comfort in the words in this book as you read it and mediate the stories and scriptures that are printed in this book.I was born in Florence, South Carolina, The second of three children. I was educated all over the world. My father was in the US Army. This broadened my imagination and gave me an insight of people from different walks of life. I always loved writing. I wrote my first story in Hanau, Germany. I was in the third grade. My sister introduced me to pen and paper. I quickly realized I can go anywhere, be anything, and do whatever my imagination would allow just in writing.I am a wife and mother. I work in the Public School system. I have learned so much from human nature. My experience as a Christian showed me that everyone has a story and in every story is a lesson, and in every lesson, God has the answer.
