Christa Mahalik is a PhD candidate who specializes in Medieval and Renaissance literature. Her research focuses on Shakespeare“s tragedies and the seven deadly sins. Her past publications include „The Rising Gorge: Poison, Hamlet and Sin“ in The Apothecary“s Chest, also published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. Currently she is employed as a Lecturer at SUNY Westchester in New York and Naugatuck Valley Community College in Connecticut. She has presented her work and chaired panels at NeMLA over the last three years.
