Based on "Twenty-Four Histories", Draft History of Qing, History as a Mirror and other important historical books in ancient China, Story of Chinese History vividly tells the classic historical stories of various dynasties in a language that children can understand, and introduces important figures and events in history with colorful cartoon illustrations. There are also small columns of "Knowledge Cards", "Famous Quotes" and "Idioms in Stories", so that young readers can understand the rich traditional cultural knowledge such as daily life, scientific and technological achievements, literature and art, historical evaluation, idioms and allusions in each era. A "what do you think" section is set in some stories to encourage young readers to think positively and express their opinions bravely.
