Karen Seelenbinder grew up with a butterfly net and Bible in one hand and a book of fiction in the other. With the influence of her favorite 4-H Entomology projects, memorized verses from Sunday school, and Walter Farleys Black Stallion adventures, Karen began writing inspirational books filled with unlovable characters. From a busy buzzing housefly to an irritating groundhog, Karen chooses characters that the everyday person wouldnt think twice about smashing, discarding, or ignoring. She combines the hurt of rejection with the power of Gods Word giving the readers new ways to handle adverse situations. Living in Columbus, Ohio with her three kitties, Karen teaches clarinet and piano, takes care of her moms large garden, enjoys long bicycle trips, and works as a caregiver.
