I was born in April 1969 in Stockton-on-Tees, England, where I lived, was educated and worked until the age of eighteen when I joined the British Army as a Vehicle Mechanic, serving for eight years. I left the army in 1996 and worked in England as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician.    I first tried to write a book when I was still in school and later when I was in the army but failed miserably. In 1997 I started writing regularly in my spare time and completed my first book five years later, though it is as yet unpublished. In 2002 I started writing Sky-Water Blue, and had the first draft ready within one year and have spent the time since then improving it until I believed it was ready for others to read.    I immigrated to Calgary, Canada in October 2005, working as a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic and adding the final touches to my book and then first contacting Author House in 2006.    I have been working on several other books as time permitted over the past ten years and hope to have more ready to publish in the near future.
