This book reflects the life of a child who was protected from the outside world as a child but in the middle years of life he had to face the reality that all people didn’t love. Matheno is the ninth child of a family of ten children, he was born in Toledo, Ohio where he still resides with his wife and children and some of his grand children. He served three years in the army and was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division and received an honorable discharge. He was a senior designer for an automobile supply company where he retired after 35 years of employment. Today he is an ordain minister in the Moorish Science Temple of America. He enjoys all kinds of music, sports and writing.
