Tagebücher 1947-1963 (2010) und Ich schreibe, um herauszufinden, was ich denke. Tagebücher 1964-1980 (2013). Susan Sontag starb 2004 in New York. Über ihr letztes Lebensjahr berichtet ihr Sohn David Rieff in Tod einer Untröstlichen (Hanser, 2009).
