From the tender age of 7, Angela always knew she was destined to be a writer. At age 10, when her first poem entitled “School Days”, a short poem chronicling the hardships of the day in the life of an elementary school student, was published in the Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans, she knew she was on to something special! From movie scripts, daytime dramas to childrens books, Angela found her knack for writing in the solice of her childhood bedroom. She found a comfort and an incomparable joy when writing; her notebooks became a ficitional diary. As a mature writer, Angela caters to a female minority audience, sharing her heart and baring her soul with her readers with her upbeat and relatable writing format.
Angela tackles the tough issues of love, life and loss, and everything in between. After a 15 year hiatus from writing, Angela learned God does indeed work in mysterious ways! After rescuing her from an emotional all time low, transforming her, and making her over, Angela smartly heeded the instruction of God to tell the world what He had done for her. Thinking writing was just a childhood hobby, God brought her back to her first love; her pen and paper.
What makes Angela’s style of writing so unqiue is her realness, annointing, old-age wisdom and personal life experiences. She is completely open about her past, and looks to help other women who may experience similar circumstances as she. She knows there is power in her testimony and she unregretfully bares it all through her light hearted and thought provoking format.
Fearlessly in pursuit of accomplishing her dreams, Angela is determined more than ever to bring her goals to past! An Ohio State University alumni (OH-IO!), currently receiving her Master’s Degree in Science at De Paul University, with a focus on digital cinema and film production, Angela is building her empire in 4 inch heels.
