Daniele Carnessali was born and raised in St. Marys, Pennsylvania, where she attended Elk County Catholic High School. She went on to St. John’s University as an Elementary Education major and continued to receive her Masters Degree in Literacy. Daniele makes her home in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania, with her husband and two children. She works at the local elementary school as the reading specialist. Daniele has had a longtime love of books and reading and believes that reading is one of the greatest skills a child can learn throughout their life. Daniele’s stories and characters for her stories have grown out of family traditions and experiences, and she hopes that her readers can find inspiration from her writing.
