The True Story of Eddie the Duck 

This is an endearing true story about a little girl who loved animals. She was excited when she found a duck egg in the woods. As a third grader, she remembered hatching chick eggs in a classroom incubator in first grade. As the story progresses, it is obvious that Kelsey and her new found friend were persistent in every way. Young readers will finally have a chance to read a true story.

Sobre el autor

Dee Ashley spent her entire career at Woodbury Central Elementary School in Moville, Iowa, teaching first grade. It was then, she realized there were very few true stories for lower elementary students. When this experience arose in her classroom, she wrote and rewrote her story. Finally, she turned it over to God and from there Eddie came to life in this special, true story.
