Gavin Rae is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the American University in Cairo, Egypt. He is the author of
Realizing Freedom: Hegel, Sartre, and the Alienation of Human Being (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011) and numerous articles on various figures in post-Kantian philosophy, including Heidegger, Deleuze, Hegel, Sartre, Kierkegaard, Schmitt, and Marcuse.
