Soporte
The protagonist of the book is Fanny Price, a simple, polite girl, endowed with a great morality and common sense, that make her always see things in the right perspective. Fanny, due to the poor conditions of her family, grew up in Mansfield Park, home to her wealthy relatives, uncle Bertram, along with her four sons, Tom, Edmund, Mary and Julia. Their cousins are frivolous, while Edmund is the only one who shows respect for the girl, snubbed by everyone for her popular origins. The arrival of the Crawford brothers, Henry and Mary, two sophisticated Londoners, breaks the monotony of the sleepy life of the Bertram, so that in a few days Edmund falls in love with Mary. Crawford, after having donor John with his sisters Bertram, feels Fanny. The girl, however, is secretly in love with Edmund and does not tolerate Henry’s behavior, refusing attention. Mary’s superficial attitude also goes away from Edmund, who begins to appreciate the cousin's abilities.
