Ominous Egg describes the discovery of a kind of red light with special functions by Professor of zoology. Despite the opposition of the professor, the head of the "Red Light" state-owned farm suggested that the government use red light to develop the chicken industry. The director is responsible for making and implementing the plan and ordering eggs from Germany. However, he received ostrich eggs, python eggs and crocodile eggs. Hours after the eggs were exposed to red light, countless huge ostriches, boa constrictors and crocodiles went out of their shells, devoured the chief»s wife, attacked the residents, and then headed for Moscow, causing national panic. The government cannot stop these monsters by sending out troops, police and airplanes. The unexpected cold current suddenly hit, ostrich, python and crocodile were all destroyed. The book is a fantastic fiction. Under the fantastic events, the author makes no secret of his criticism and satire on the real society.
