Practical Engineering Application in Electrical Engineering Studies 

The book referred to those addressed standards where applicable and insisted on the application of those standards and regulations that the engineer should be aware of and get used to in his effort to design and engineer projects to meet all their requirements, which will insure human safety requirement including the safety of environment that we live in.

In the following pages of this book, we shall talk in a comprehensive but not very detailed manner about the application of disciplines of the engineering profession in general and the application of electrical engineering in more detail. However, the specialized engineer must have the required academic background that he prepared himself during his academic study. Such study shall include but is not limited to the study of mathematics, physics, chemistry, graphics, engineering economics, and the ability to master the language of those courses.

The author, after receiving his high school education, attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, to graduate later as an electrical engineer. He then continued his postgraduate engineering study at the University of Santa Clara and, later, the University of California in California.

The author first pursued his professional engineering experience, working for major and professional engineering firms in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East with various professional positions extending from an electrical engineer position, principal engineer, and the position of nuclear electrical lead engineer.

The author continued his professional works to work on the design and construction of major conventional and nuclear power generation plants auxiliary power distribution system, including the design and construction of industrial and petrochemical facilities in the Unite States, Europe, and the Middle East for over forty-five years of his professional life.

The author worked for major engineering and construction firms in the United States of America, Europe, and the Middle East.
